Hotel Praha was officially opened in 1981 and is an excellent example of modern Czech architecture of the 1980s. The hotel was exclusively constructed for the purpose of providing accommodation for official state visits and delegations, and the hotel still regularly accommodates dignitaries for these functions. All of the hotel’s 124 rooms and suites have been recently reconstructed. Each room has a large terrace and offers views over the beautiful city of Prague and the city’s historic castle. The hotel’s rooms are divided into four categories (Ambience, Business, Diamond and Apartments). Each category is designed to best suit the needs of a particular category of guest.

All rooms are newly reconstructed in order to fulfill the highest demands of our guests to the equipment and standard of all services. All rooms have large terrace and offer breathtaking view to the panorama of Prague. We offer three room types: Double Standard, even more spacious Double Superior or Junior Suite which consist of separate bedroom and living room. Rooms in Standard category are designed for guests who are looking for comfort during their work as well their leisure time. These rooms have spacious bathrooms with bidet and hair drier and separate WC. The latest modern equipment includes chip card lock, wide screen satellite TV, 3 direct dial phones, high speed internet access and safe suitable also for laptop. Rooms in the Superior Category offer even more space. They have the same equipment as Standard rooms. Maximum comfort, that is what you can find in Junior Suite with separate living room. Additionally they are equipped by LCD TV in the bedroom and separate shower corner with Raindance shower. The hotel is accessible for disabled guests and 2 rooms are suitable for wheel chair users and have specially adapted bathrooms.

Lavande Cuisine Hotel restaurant Lavande Cuisine was completely reconstructed and has brand new modern design. We offer the best of international and Czech cuisine. You can enjoy the specialties from our menu together with splendid view to the panorama on Prague. During the Summer you can also enjoy our large terrace which is connected to the hotel park. Two large aquariums are another highlights of the restaurant. Lavande Cuisine is the right place for either business lunch or romantic dinner.

The hotel is situated in 8 hectares of private park just off the main road that connects Prague’s Ruzyne International airport (Letiste Praha) with the city centre. Just 10 minutes drive from the airport, the hotel is also just 15 minutes by car from Prague’s beautiful historic city centre. The nearest public transport is approximately 2 minutes away. The nearest points of interest: Prague Castle (3 km) - The castle is the most popular tourist attraction in Prague and the largest ancient castle in the world, covering 7.28 hectares, it is 570 metres long and 128 metres wide. Katedrála svatého Víta (Saint Vitus’ Cathedral) (3 km) - Located within Prague castle, Saint Vitus’ Cathedral is the seat of the archbishop of Prague. The cathedral contains the tombs of many Bohemian kings and is an excellent example of Gothic architecture.
